Health Care In Britain
I found an awesome post on health care in Britain. I don’t think Americans are really getting the true feelings of most of the people that are actually getting the benefits of Britian’s heath care.
The NHS or National Health Service in Britain seems to cover about everything without being an incredible burden on its citizens. This is what I gathered from the articles.
The real proof of what people really think about it are in the comments on the site.
Admittedly there are some negative points, but overall, many Americans and Brits that have used both systems seem to much prefer the National Health Service in Britain, over most things offered in America.
The post did mention dental care, which they did say was not as good, but they also said that it was much less expensive.
It was the comments on dentistry about dental offices being very out of date and things of that nature that would cause alarm for anyone, especially someone with a phobia about dentistry.
Overall, unless I read something wrong, they wouldn’t trade their health care for what we have in America.
They even mentioned capitalism, republicans, and even mentioned that Fox News was incorrect and couldn’t understand why they are so against it.
That post is there to provide information. I posted here to get information from anyone living in Britain, or America, that can shed some “honest” light on this issue, free from the media and the press.
I want to know what the people that use it actually believe about it. With all the political upheaval in America, I would probably believe what the Brits have to say, long before our media that can’t seem to carry much news about anything except celebrities.
Maybe the thing I missed in the post is the information on the number of immigrants that use it, that pay nothing into the system.
Is the percentage of the population similar, or is that what has so many American’s concerned about nationalized health care?
