The Political Spectrum in the United States
I found this definition of the Political Spectrum in the United States. I am not endorsing it, nor am I saying it is right, wrong, or anything about it other than I found it.

I did find it interesting. The importance I guess is that it clarifies right from left and therefore gives an indication of where someone stands concerning politics. I also find it interesting in that it appears that most Americans should find the “far” right or left undesirable.
Here’s the definition I found;
The Political Spectrum in the United States
Far left: Communism
Left Wing: Liberal and Democrat
Left Moderate: Democratic mainstream
Centrist: Neutral. Democrat and Republican
Right Moderate: Republican
Right Wing: Conservative mainstream
Far Right: Fascism
The purpose of this site is, according to this definition, is to provide a place for anyone to join and write, leave comments, or just follow the thoughts of others that comment here. I guess that means, I would like it to be “Centrist” although any view is welcome.
It isn’t meant to be conservative, liberal, Republican, or Democratic in the views in the comments, but at the same time, it is meant to provide a place for all of the above to leave a comment for anyone visiting this site.
I personally believe we do, whether we want to or not, exhibit where we stand through the comments we make.
I do feel that those that have strong feelings might do well if they joined a site of this nature, made the posts for all to see, rather than post in what generally become an unnoticed comment. I do understand that the feeling today is that “I am not going to give my talent away on a blog when I don’t receive monetary compensation”. I do think it wise to remember that not all rewards are monetary.
I do think it desirable to share opinions and discussing ideas and issues facing all people in America is healthy, and might even be productive. I don’t believe for a minute that those that don’t feel “professional” shouldn’t be heard.
I find the most interesting part of any blog is the comment section. I read the posts, but I always check the “latest comments” if they are on the front page. I do this because the post is one person’s opinion. The comments are from people who have enough interest to actually have some interest in the topic.
This merely means that a blog doesn’t know if a person is a millionaire or a pauper. It is like a nudist camp, where with the exception of someone wearing a few pounds of gold, we can’t actually form much of an opinion about this person, until they open their mouths.
My desire would be to have many authors on this blog. Much more important information could be dispersed. On the monetary side, if the site was here for monetary gain, instead of just a hobby and an attempt to get some of the information to others, then naturally the profit, if any would need to be shared.
I do know that some feel a blog like this is something close to a joke. I feel blogs by working Americans are a very important source of how people really feel. No blog regardless of how crude or how well done is a joke. It is something created by another human being. Aren’t all people important?
I do think it is beneficial to provide information and go beyond the right and left bashing. We really should try to remember that the bottom line is, American’s really should work together.
[...] For those that don’t understand “Centrist” I put some definitions of the Political Spectrum in another post on the site. I also put a poll so you can vote, (no information is recorded, other [...]
